Solange Roberdeau (b. 1982, Albion, CA) lives and works in Elk, CA. She completed her BFA in Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design (2005) and earned an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2012), where she taught as an adjunct faculty member (2019-22). Roberdeau is the recipient of the 2023 ACMC & Mendocino County Board of Supervisors Artist Champion Award and has been awarded residencies from several institutions, including the Abbey Foundation, Boonville, CA; JB Blunk Residency, Inverness, CA; Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, Taos, NM; Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Bethany, CT; and Can Serrat, Spain. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at Blunk Space, Point Reyes, CA; Bolinas Museum, Bolinas, CA; Harwood Museum of Art, Taos, NM; International Print Center, New York, NY; Municipal Bonds, San Francisco, CA; Abbaye de La Couronne, France; and Arcade Gallery, Egypt. She is represented by Municipal Bonds.
